Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Management Theory and Practices Research (JMTPR) are expected to comply with the journal’s scientific, ethical, and formal publication standards. Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the journal’s formatting requirements, citation rules, and manuscript structure.

All required documents and sample templates for manuscript submission are available on the Documents page. Authors are required to use the official manuscript template provided by the journal.

Only manuscripts prepared in accordance with the journal’s formatting template are considered for review. Submissions that do not comply with the required format may be returned to the author(s) during the preliminary evaluation stage for necessary revisions.

1. General Formatting Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to JMTPR must comply with the following general formatting rules:

• Font: Times New Roman.

• Font size: 11 pt.

• Paragraph spacing: 0 pt before, 6 pt after.

• Line spacing: 1.15 multiple.

• Text alignment: Justified.

• In-text citation style: APA 7.

The manuscript should be written in clear academic language and should comply with the formal standards of scholarly writing.

2. Article Title and Author Information

Article Title

The article title must be:

• Fully capitalized,

• Bold,

• 12 pt,

• Centered.

Author Information

Since JMTPR applies a double-blind peer review process, author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and any information that may reveal author identity must not be included in the manuscript file during initial submission.

Author information should only be added after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

After acceptance, author names should be written as follows:

• The first name should begin with an initial capital letter.

• The surname should be fully capitalized.

• Example: Ahmet YILMAZ.

• Author information should be 11 pt and centered.

3. Abstract, Keywords, and JEL Codes

Abstract

The abstract should:

• Be between 100 and 300 words,

• Be written as a single paragraph,

• Be justified,

• Be written in 9 pt font size,

• Use single line spacing.

The abstract should briefly present the aim, scope, methodology, main findings, and contribution of the study.

Keywords

The manuscript must include 3 to 5 keywords. Keywords should be:

• Written in 9 pt font size,

• Justified,

• Written with single-line spacing.

JEL Codes

For manuscripts related to economics, business, finance, public finance, management, and related fields, authors should include appropriate JEL codes. JEL codes should be selected from the official JEL classification list:

4. Manuscript Structure

Empirical research articles should generally follow the IMRAD structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. However, theoretical, conceptual, and review articles may adopt a structure appropriate to their subject, methodology, and academic contribution.

The manuscript should be organized in a clear and coherent manner. Headings and subheadings should reflect the logical flow of the study.

4.1. Introduction

The introduction should clearly present:

• The research problem,

• The purpose and importance of the study,

• The theoretical and/or practical background of the subject,

• The gap in the relevant literature,

• The general methodological approach,

• The expected or main contribution of the study.

First-level headings should be written in uppercase, bold, 11 pt, and justified.

4.2. Theoretical Framework

The theoretical framework should explain the conceptual and theoretical foundations of the study. Authors should discuss relevant literature, define key concepts, and position their study within existing scholarly debates.

All in-text citations must comply with APA 7 format.

4.3. Research Section

For empirical studies, the research section should include the following subsections where applicable.

4.3.1. Research Aim and Importance

The aim of the research should be clearly stated. This section should answer the following questions:

• What is being studied?

• How is it being studied?

• Why is the study important?

4.3.2. Research Population and Sample

Authors should clearly define the research population and sample. The sampling method used in the study must be explicitly stated and justified.

4.3.3. Research Methodology

This section should provide detailed information on:

• Research design,

• Data collection methods,

• Data collection tools,

• Data analysis methods,

• Validity and reliability procedures, where applicable,

• Ethical approval information, where required.

4.3.4. Findings and Discussion

Findings should be presented systematically and clearly. Tables, figures, and statistical results should be used where necessary.

Tables and figures must comply with APA 7 formatting rules. In addition:

• Tables must be created in Word.

• Table titles should be bold, 11 pt, and placed above the table.

• Figures should be presented clearly and in high resolution.

• Decimal values should be written using a comma as the decimal separator.

• All tables and figures must be cited in the text.

4.4. Conclusion and Discussion

The conclusion should not merely repeat numerical findings. Instead, it should interpret the results in relation to the aim of the study, relevant literature, and theoretical or practical implications.

This section should highlight:

• Main conclusions of the study,

• Similarities and differences with previous studies,

• Theoretical contribution,

• Practical or managerial implications, where applicable,

• Limitations of the study,

• Suggestions for future research,

5. Citation and Reference Rules

JMTPR uses APA 7 citation and reference style. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all in-text citations and references are accurate, complete, and consistent.

5.1. In-Text Citation Examples

5.2. Reference List

The reference list must be prepared in accordance with APA 7 style. It should be:

• Justified,

• Written in 10 pt font size,

• Written with 1.15 line spacing.

Only sources cited in the text should be included in the reference list. Likewise, every source listed in the references must be cited in the manuscript.

Manuscripts submitted to JMTPR must be original and must not have been previously published or be under evaluation by another journal. Authors are responsible for the originality, accuracy, ethical compliance, and scientific quality of their submissions.

The responsibility for the ideas, opinions, findings, interpretations, conclusions, and recommendations expressed in published articles belongs solely to the author(s).

7. Submission Process

Authors should submit their manuscripts through the official submission system by uploading the manuscript file and all required documents.

Before submission, authors must ensure that:

• The manuscript complies with the journal template.

• Author-identifying information has been removed from the manuscript file.

• The manuscript follows APA 7 citation and reference rules.

• All required documents have been prepared.

• The manuscript has not been published elsewhere.

• The manuscript is not under review by another journal.

• All authors have approved the content and submission of the manuscript.

Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the author(s) during the preliminary evaluation stage.
